If you head over to Chitrada in the Betnoti area, you might find us at Plot No 900/901. We operate out of Subas Ch. Mohanta’s place. It’s a familiar spot for most of us around here. We called ourselves Sai Balaram Farmers Producer Company Limited because we wanted to organize ourselves a bit better. Farming by yourself is getting harder every year. We’re just a group of neighbors and friends who decided to team up. We don't have a corporate office or a board of directors in suits. It’s just us sitting around talking about crops and costs. Some days we spend more time fixing old machinery than actually planting. That’s just how it is. We’ve all been doing this since we were kids. We know the cycles of the rain and which fields get too muddy. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We aren't trying to sell anyone a dream. We’re just trying to get our produce to market and hope for a decent price. There are good years and bad ones, and we’ve seen both. Our address is just a house and a plot where we keep our records and meet up. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us. We’re just local folks from Betnoti trying to make a living off the ground. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We don't need much more than that to keep going.
