It's pretty quiet here in Palashpada. We set up Kulundapat Farmer Producer Company Limited at Plot No- 179/8 because we needed a way to handle our harvests better. It’s a bit of a drive to Morada, but we manage. Most of us here in Mayurbhanj grow the same things, so it made sense to work as a group. My cousin and a few neighbors spend most mornings out in the fields before the sun gets too hot. We don't have a big office or anything fancy, just our place in the village. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when we need it, which makes things hard. But being a producer company helps us deal with the seeds and tools together. Last year was tough because of the market prices, so we decided to pool what we have. It’s mostly just us local folks trying to keep the farms going. People stop by the Khata No-1 spot to talk about the soil or what to plant next season. It's not a big corporate thing, just a bunch of farmers from around Mayurbhanj-757020 trying to make a living. We have a lot of work to do, and the paperwork can be a headache sometimes. The road to the plot can get pretty bumpy after the rain, which makes getting the supplies in a bit of a chore. We usually just make do with what we have on hand. It's the kind of place where you learn to fix things with wire and luck. At the end of the day, we just want to make sure our families are okay. It’s basic, honest work.
