Raruan Agro Producer Company Limited is what we call our little operation here in Mayurbhanj. We are based out of Plot No. 255 in Panposi, which is near Karanjia. It’s easy to find if you know the area, right by Pravat Ranjan Mohanta’s place. We aren't a big outfit with a lot of employees. It's mostly just us locals who have been farming these lands for generations. We decided to form this company because we wanted a way to manage our agro business without having to rely on too many outsiders. It’s a lot of manual work and long days under the sun. Mayurbhanj is a tough place to farm sometimes, but we like it here. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just have our names and our reputation in the village. When you walk into our spot in Panposi, you'll see a lot of notebooks and maybe some samples of what we've been growing. We talk about the weather, the prices, and how to fix the old equipment. It’s just real life. We are just a group of people at the 757091 postcode trying to make sure we get a fair shake. Raruan Agro Producer Company Limited is just the name on our papers. In reality, we are just neighbors helping each other out with the harvest and everything else that comes with it. We just keep our heads down and keep the soil moving.
