Aegagrus Agrotech Private Limited is based out of Talpada, which is a bit of a trek via Thakurmunda in the Mayurbhanj district. We’re located right in the heart of Orissa’s rural landscape. The address is 757038, and it’s a place where everyone knows their neighbors. We started this agrotech company because we wanted to bring some practical ideas to the farms around here. It’s not about high-tech gadgets that nobody knows how to use, but about stuff that actually works for a farmer in Talpada. We spend most of our time out in the fields or in our small office space, just trying to figure out how to make things run a bit better. Mayurbhanj is a beautiful place, but the farming life here can be tough. We deal with the heat and the rain just like everyone else. We aren't some big firm from the city; we’re local and we plan on staying that way. Our day-to-day involves a lot of talking to people, listening to what they need, and trying to provide it. It’s a slow process sometimes, building things up from the ground, but we think it’s the right way to do it. We don't have a big staff, just a few dedicated people who care about agriculture and the community we live in.
