Appachi Dinners

Appachi Dinners is a local eating spot located near the Perumal Temple in Tallakulam. We have been serving the people in this area for a while now. The neighborhood is usually quite busy because of the temple, so there are always people walking around and looking for a place to eat. We focus mainly on dinner, opening our doors as the day starts to cool down. It’s a simple setup with basic tables and chairs, nothing too fancy. We think the food is what really brings people back anyway. Our menu isn't very long, but we try to do a few things really well. The kitchen is always humming with the sound of pans and the smell of spices. We get our ingredients from the local markets every day to keep things fresh. Most of our staff are locals who have been with us for a long time. On festival days, it can get really hectic with the extra crowds from the temple, and we have to work much faster to keep up. We don't spend a lot of time on decorations or trying to look like a big restaurant. We’re just a neighborhood place where you can get a decent meal without any fuss. It’s a lot of hard work, especially late at night when we have to clean everything up, but we like being a part of the Tallakulam community.
