Red Tomato

Red Tomato is tucked away in the Vrindavan Colony in Chevayoor. We are at B-1, Smitha. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty quiet most of the time compared to the city center. We operate out of a modest space. There aren't any big flashing signs or anything like that. We spend most of our time in the back, working away. The name Red Tomato sounded good, so we went with it. We aren't a giant company with hundreds of employees. It is just a small team of us who know each other well. Our days are filled with the usual stuff—checking supplies, prepping, and cleaning up. We go through a lot of towels and soap, that's for sure. Chevayoor is a nice part of Kozhikode to be in. We have some trees around the building, which helps when the afternoon sun gets hot. We don't have a professional marketing person to write things for us. We just do the work and hope people like what we do. Sometimes the delivery bike won't start, or we run out of something important, and we just have to scramble. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s just how a real business runs. We don't have any big speeches about our values. We just show up every day and try to get through the list of things that need doing before we go home.
