Green Park

Green Park is located in Calicut and it has been part of the city for quite a while. It’s one of those places that people just know about because it’s been there so long. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who look after the grounds and the building. Most of our time is spent on maintenance. Plants grow fast in this weather, so there is always something to prune or grass to mow. We try to keep the place looking decent for anyone who stops by. It isn't a high-end luxury spot, just a regular place where you can find some space. Calicut is a busy city and things are always changing, but we try to keep Green Park consistent. Sometimes the gate needs painting or a pipe leaks, and we just fix it ourselves. We don't have a fancy office with computers. Usually, if you need something, you just find one of us walking around the property. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We see a lot of people come and go, and some of them have been coming here since they were kids. It’s nice to have that kind of history with the local community. We just keep doing what we do, making sure the place stays open and ready for whoever needs it. It’s a lot of work but it feels right to be here.
