The office is on the third floor of Elite Arcade in the Chakkorathukulam area. We are located on Kannur Road in the Nadakkavu part of Calicut. It’s a busy road with a lot of shops and cars passing by all the time. Since we are on the third floor, we have to walk up or wait for the lift, which can be quite slow during the day. We spend our days talking to people who want to put together events or stage shows. A lot of our work involves visiting venues and checking out the local grounds to see if they fit. Back at the office, it’s mostly just us and our laptops. We have some samples of fabrics and lighting ideas scattered around the place on different tables. The humidity here in Calicut can be tough, so the fans are always running at full speed to keep us cool. We usually take a break in the afternoon for some local snacks and tea from the stall downstairs. It is a small team and we know each other well, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed and quiet. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. People just walk in and we sit down to talk about what they need for their function. Sometimes we are out late at a site, and other times we are just here filing paperwork. It is just the usual business of making sure things are ready. We do what we can.
