We have been running God`S out of the Canara Bank Building in Kadalundi for a good while now. It is a familiar spot for people in this part of Kozhikode since the bank is right there and everyone uses it. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just a regular concrete structure that gets a bit dusty from the road traffic nearby. Inside, our space is pretty simple. We do not have fancy furniture or a big reception area with a secretary. It is just a few of us working on whatever needs to be done that day. Sometimes people walk in thinking we are part of the bank, and we have to point them in the right direction. It makes for some funny conversations and we have met a lot of neighbors that way. We like being in Kadalundi because it is close to the water and has a slower pace than the middle of the city. Our work does not involve big boardrooms or long presentations. Usually, it is just us talking to customers and trying to keep everything organized. The office gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the fans going full blast to keep the air moving. We do not spend money on big ads or marketing. Most of the people who come to us are locals who heard about the shop from a friend or saw the sign while heading to the bank. It is an honest way to run a business.
