Nakshathra Events

Nakshathra Events is located in the Althaf building, which is on the north side of the new bus stand in Vadakara Bazar. It is a very busy part of town and can get quite hectic. There is always the sound of bus horns and people shouting in the market right outside. Our office is small and tucked away, which is actually kind of nice when the street gets too crowded in the afternoons. We do not have a big team of corporate planners. It is just a few of us who know how to put together a stage or organize a local function. The office is usually full of notebooks and samples of things like curtains and light fixtures. We spend a lot of time walking around the bazaar to pick up supplies or meet with different vendors. Planning events here is mostly about knowing the right people and being able to work fast when things change. It is not a very polished job. We get sweaty and tired, especially when we are setting up for a big wedding in the summer heat. We do not have a fancy website or a lot of promotional materials. Most of our customers are people who live right here in Vadakara or in the nearby villages. They just come to the office and sit down for a chat. We listen to what they want and tell them what we can do. It is a very local, straightforward way of doing business.
