Swadisht Masale

Swadisht Masale is located right near Kala Mandir, which is a busy little area to be in. We deal mostly in different kinds of masalas, and our shop is usually filled with the various aromas of roasted seeds and ground peppers. It is a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything that goes into the mixtures. We don't use a lot of fancy equipment, just the stuff that gets the job done properly. The shelves are filled with jars and packets, and sometimes the labels are a bit crooked because we put them on by hand. Being near Kala Mandir means we get a lot of foot traffic, and people often pop in just because they smelled the spices from the street. We spend our afternoons mixing batches and packing them up for the regulars. It is a lot of repetitive work, but there is a certain rhythm to it that feels good. Sometimes the air gets a bit spicy and makes you sneeze, but that is just part of the environment. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing team. It is just us in the shop, making sure the spice blends are handled right. We keep the counter clear for customers and try to stay on top of the orders that come in throughout the week. It is just a normal, local business.
