Haji Saheb

We have been running Haji Saheb at 37 Jessore Road for quite some time now. We are located right in the Nagerbazar area, directly opposite the Axis Bank. It is a very crowded part of Kolkata, and our restaurant reflects that energy. People come in at all hours for a meal. We serve the kind of food that is familiar to everyone in this neighborhood. It’s not about being trendy or having a modern look. We keep things traditional. The dining area is usually packed, especially on the weekends, so it can get a little cramped. We just try to make sure everyone gets a seat and their food is served warm. Our kitchen staff works hard to keep up with the orders that come in. We don't use any fancy marketing gimmicks. Most of our customers are people who live nearby or work in the shops around Nagerbazar. We know their faces and they know ours. It’s a simple relationship. Sometimes the traffic on Jessore Road makes it hard to get to us, but people still make the effort. We try to keep our prices reasonable so that anyone can come in for a meal. The building is older, but we do our best to maintain it. It’s just a local business doing what it does best every single day.
