You can find us over at 79 Netaji Subhas Road. If you’ve ever been down NS Road in Kolkata, you know exactly what the vibe is like. It’s fast and loud. There’s always something happening right outside the door. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite a long time now. The building is old. Like most of them in this part of the city, it has that specific smell of old paper and trade. We aren’t a big corporation with departments. It’s just a handful of us making sure things run okay. Every morning starts with tea. Then we take a look at what needs to be delivered. The sidewalk is usually packed with people. Sometimes it’s hard to even see the shop front if you aren’t looking for it. We deal with a lot of regular customers. They have been coming to Netaji Subhas Road for years. We don't bother with much decoration. Making the place look modern isn't for us. It’s a functional space. Sometimes the electricity acts up. Other times the rain makes the street a mess, but we just keep going. It’s a lot of work staying organized in such a busy area. We’re used to the rhythm of it by now. We just try to be honest with everyone who walks through the door. We get them what they need without a fuss. It is just how we work here in the heart of the trade district.
