You can find us at 33 Armenian Street. If you know the area, you know how crowded and lively it gets. It is one of those old parts of town where every building has a bit of a story. We handle spices, so there’s always that scent of pepper or turmeric hanging around the doorway. The building is older, with thick walls and narrow hallways. It’s not the easiest place to navigate if you aren’t used to it. We have bags and containers coming in and going out all the time. It gets a bit chaotic when the deliveries arrive simultaneously. The street outside is usually full of carts and people rushing around. We don't have a big neon sign or anything like that. People who need us usually know where the door is. Inside, it's mostly storage and a small area for the paperwork. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in. If the spice isn't right, it doesn't go on the shelf. It’s a simple way of working that has kept us going here for years. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just wait it out or work by the light from the street.
