Kashmira Spices

Kashmira Spices is based out of Jaynagar. If you know South 24 Parganas, you know it's a bit of a drive to get out here. We are right in the heart of the local area. The weather here can be quite humid, which we have to be careful about because of the products we handle. We’ve got a small setup where we do all the sorting and packing. It is not a very large operation, just a few of us working together to make sure everything is handled properly. Most of our days are spent moving heavy sacks around. You can find us easily if you are in the Jaynagar neighborhood. People here are friendly and everyone knows everyone else’s business. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us and our spices. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit muddy, but we manage to get our deliveries out anyway. We have been doing this for a long time now. The building is old but it stays cool inside, which is helpful for the stocks. We mostly focus on local varieties that people in this part of Bengal use every day. There is no corporate ladder here, just a bunch of people trying to make a living by selling spices to the local shops and markets around the district. We keep things simple and don't try to overcomplicate the work we do. Every day is pretty much the same routine and we like it that way.
