Nagrota Surian Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group is based out of Mawa Jawali, where Yashpaul Singh looks after the daily things. We are all from around the Nagrota Surian area and we have been farming these lands for as long as we can remember. This company is just a way for us to stick together. We don't have a big headquarters or a fleet of trucks. Most of the work happens right on the farms or in the small shed we use for meetings. It is a very local operation. We deal with whatever the season brings us. Sometimes it is wheat, sometimes it is something else. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements because everyone around here already knows who we are. We just want to get the work done and make sure the families in the village have what they need. Yashpaul is usually the one who handles the paperwork, which can be a real headache sometimes. We prefer being outdoors to being stuck behind a desk. The air in Jawali is good, and the work keeps us moving. We aren't trying to become a huge corporation. We just want to make sure our farming community stays strong and that we can keep doing what our fathers did before us. It’s a simple life with plenty of chores to keep us busy and tired by the end of the day.
