Hasdev Farmers Producer Company Limited

Down in Kera, everyone knows where the post office is, and we aren't too far from there. Hasdev Farmers Producer Company is basically just a collection of us from the Kera area who wanted to stop getting pushed around by the middle guys. We’ve been farming these plots for generations. My grandfather did it, and now I’m doing it. We decided to put our names together on some official papers so we could buy things like fertilizer and seeds for a bit less. It's a lot of work keeping up with the rules, but we have a few people who are good with numbers. We mostly talk about the weather and the price of grain. The Hasdev river is a big part of our lives here, and that’s why we took the name. It feels right. We don’t have a shop front with big signs. We just have our land and a few sheds where we keep the communal tools. If you’re looking for us, you’ll likely find us out in the dirt rather than behind a desk. We take things as they come. If a tractor breaks down, we fix it together. If the market is down, we wait it out together. It’s a practical way to live. We don’t promise anything special, we just do the daily chores and hope for a decent crop at the end of the season. That is pretty much all there is to it for us.
