Modern Hindustan Agriculture Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our office is over at Arjun Shivdas Gambare’s place in the village of Palashi, in the Man area. Even though our name says "Modern," we are still very much tied to the old ways of doing things on the farm. We are just a group of local farmers who wanted to see if we could do better by working as a unit. Palashi is a small place, and most of us have known each other since school. We meet up at Arjun’s house to talk about seeds, goats, and whatever else is going on in the fields. It’s not a polished business environment. You might see some muddy boots at the door and a few stacks of papers on a wooden table. We try to keep up with new ways of farming, but it takes time to learn everything. Sometimes we get frustrated with the paperwork that comes with running a formal company, but we know it’s necessary. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big talk. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of and that the farms stay productive. It’s a lot of long hours and sometimes things don’t go according to plan, but we just keep moving forward. We are just normal people trying to make a go of it in the agriculture world and making sure our community stays strong.
