We run Shree Subhamangalamcatering Servicesprivate Limited from our location in the Ramapuram area. We are specifically located at No.1/14 on EVR Periyar Street. The catering business is quite tough because it involves a lot of heavy lifting and very long working hours. We usually have to start our work in the middle of the night if we have a big event scheduled. The kitchen is almost always hot and there is always something boiling or frying on the stove. Our team is mostly made up of cooks and helpers who have worked with us for many years now. We handle all of the food preparation ourselves right at the Ramapuram site. EVR Periyar Street is where we load up the vans with all the food and the serving equipment. It is a busy street, so loading things can be a bit of a challenge with all the traffic passing by. We do not have a fancy office space; most of our time is spent on our feet working in the kitchen. We deal with a lot of big stainless steel pots and large industrial burners. The work is very physically demanding, but we are all used to it by now. We do not really do any fancy brochures or big advertisements. People usually just hear about us from their neighbors or relatives.
