Kanchi Sankara Catering

We started Kanchi Sankara Catering quite some time ago right here in Avadi. You can find us at No 26/1 on 4th Street in Kamaraj Nagar. We are really close to the Ramarathna Theater, so most people know where that is. It’s just a small place where we handle food for different occasions. Usually, it's families from around the neighborhood who call us when they have something going on at home. We just focus on getting the cooking done and making sure it gets to the venue on time. There isn't a big team here, just a few of us who know how to work the kitchen. Sometimes it gets a bit busy, especially on weekends, but we manage. People ask for traditional dishes mostly. We don't do anything too fancy or modern because that's not what we're about. It's just honest food like you’d have at a relative's house. We buy our vegetables from the local market nearby every morning. The kitchen stays pretty active from early dawn. If you're walking down 4th street, you can usually smell whatever is being prepared. We’ve stayed in this same spot for years now and haven't really thought about moving. It works for us and the locals know where to find us. Just a regular catering setup trying to keep things simple. Nothing more to it than that, really. We just keep doing what we know how to do and hope people are happy with it.
