The Yellow Curry

We are located inside the SAI Kripa Inn over in the Chandmari area of Guwahati. If you find the Reliance Store, we are right behind it. It is a bit of a tucked-away spot, which we actually like because it stays a little quieter than the main road. 781003 is our pin code if you are looking us up. We have been here for a while, serving whoever comes through the inn or walks in from the neighborhood. The kitchen is not massive, so we have to stay organized to keep things moving. We do a lot of curry, obviously, and the smell of spices is always hanging around the hallway. Our staff is small, just a few of us doing the cooking and the serving. We do not have a big corporate manager or anything. It is just us. Sometimes we run out of certain ingredients because the market was short that day, but we make do with what we have. The floors are a bit old and the furniture has some scratches, but it is clean and it works for us. We spend our afternoons prepping for the dinner crowd. It is mostly regular people from around Chandmari who stop by. We are not trying to win any awards or be on TV. We just want to make sure the food tastes right and the plates are clean. It is a simple business run by people who live right here in the city.
