Blue Moon Restaurants

We are located down in Uzan Bazar at the Hotel Blue Moon. If you know where the ICICI Bank is on Bhuban Road, we are right near that. Uzan Bazar is a bit of an older part of Guwahati, and it has its own rhythm. We have been here for a good while now, just serving whoever comes through. The river isn't too far off, so you get a bit of that breeze sometimes on the walk in. It is a simple setup really. We open up in the morning and stay busy until the evening rush is over. Sometimes the street gets a bit narrow with all the cars parked for the bank, but people manage to get through. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It is just a restaurant where you can get a meal without any fuss. The staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for a bit. We know the neighbors and the shopkeepers around here. Guwahati has grown so much, but this little corner of Uzan Bazar stays mostly the same. We just keep the kitchen going and make sure the tables are wiped down for the next person. It’s not a fancy life, but it works for us. Most days are just about managing the supplies and talking to the regulars who have been coming here for years. It is just a normal part of the neighborhood.
