Brahmaputra Jungle Restaurants & Bar

You can find us over at the Brahmaputra Jungle Resort on Dr R P Road in Dispur. We are Brahmaputra Jungle Restaurants & Bar, and we are part of the resort grounds here in Guwahati - 781006. Being out in the Dispur area gives us a bit of a different feel than the middle of the city. We have both the restaurant side and the bar side of things to look after every day. It’s a lot of work keeping both running, but we have a decent team that gets it done. We spend a lot of time making sure the place is ready for guests who are staying at the resort or just driving in for a meal. Dr R P Road is where we spend most of our lives, honestly. We aren't some big international chain; we are just a local spot in Guwahati. We get a mix of travelers and people from the neighborhood. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the trees, and other days it feels like everyone in Dispur decided to come by at once. We don't have a polished speech about what we do. We just serve food and drinks and try to make sure the atmosphere is okay. It is a bit of a jungle setting, which is what people seem to like about coming out this way. We’re just here doing our jobs and keeping the place open.
