6 Ballygunge Place is situated in the Nalini Plaza on G S Road in the Ulubari area of Guwahati. We are quite close to the KFC in Lachit Nagar, which makes us easy to spot when you are driving down the main road. G S Road is the heartbeat of Guwahati, so there is always a lot of traffic and activity right outside our door. We deal with everything from the humid summer heat to the rainy monsoon days that the Northeast is known for. Our team is made up of people who really care about the food we serve, even if we don't always use the most professional-sounding words to describe it. We focus on traditional flavors that people in Assam and Bengal grew up with. The restaurant has a comfortable feel to it, and we don't try to be something we are not. We aren't a corporate chain with a lot of rules; we just try to make sure every plate that leaves the kitchen is right. Many families come to see us for lunch or dinner, and we enjoy seeing the kids grow up over the years. It can get a bit hectic on weekend nights when everyone is out on GS Road, but we manage to keep things under control. We are just a local spot in Ulubari trying to keep our heritage alive through our cooking.
