We've been here at the Adityam Building in Ulubari for a while now. Most people know the spot on G S Road, right on the second floor. It gets pretty busy around here, especially with all the traffic in Guwahati. We just show up every day, get the grills ready, and make sure everything is set for whoever walks through the door. It’s a lot of work behind the scenes, honestly. We spend a lot of time cleaning and prepping the tables before the first person even arrives. The staff here are mostly local folks who just want to do a decent job. We don’t really do anything fancy in terms of talk, we just focus on the food and the charcoal. Sometimes the elevator is slow, or the street outside is a mess, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve seen a lot of regulars come through over the years, families mostly. We recognize the faces even if we don't always know the names. It's just a regular place to eat where you don't have to worry too much about being formal. We keep the place running, try to keep the floors clean, and make sure the smoke doesn't get too thick. It’s just us doing our thing in Lachit Nagar, day in and day out. Nothing more to it than that, really. We're just glad to be part of the neighborhood here.
