Arjuna Residency Restaurant

You can find us on the ground floor of the Arjuna Residency Hotel. We are right on G S Road in Paltanbazar, which is a very busy part of Guwahati. Being on the ground floor means we see everyone coming in and out of the hotel all day. It is a lot of movement and noise from the street outside. G S Road never really seems to get quiet. Our restaurant is just a part of the building where guests and locals come to eat. We have the kitchen set up to handle the breakfast crowd and then the people stopping by for dinner. The space is set up simply with enough tables to fit a decent group. We spend most of our time in the back prep area or checking on the dining room. It’s a lot of walking back and forth. Paltanbazar is the kind of place where something is always happening, so we have to stay alert. The staff here has been around for a while and we all know how the routine goes. It is a practical setup for a hotel restaurant. We don't put much effort into being trendy or anything like that. We just want to make sure the food is ready when people are hungry. It’s a job that keeps us on our feet. The hotel guests usually appreciate having us right there when they come down from their rooms.
