Teetooz

Teetooz is up on the second floor of the Peetee Tower. You can find us on G S Road in the Paltanbazar area of Guwahati. It’s a busy part of town, right opposite the Assam Oil Petrol Pump. Being on the second floor means it’s a little quieter than the street level, which is nice when the traffic gets loud outside. We’ve been in this building for some time now. We aren't a massive department store or anything like that. We just have our space where we keep our stock and talk to people who come in. Most of our day is spent organizing things or chatting with folks who managed to find their way up the stairs. Guwahati is a growing city and G S Road is always changing, but we’ve stayed put here. The tower itself has a few different businesses, so there’s always people coming and going. We don’t spend much on advertising or anything; people usually just see our sign from the road or hear about us from a friend. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, open the doors, and see who comes by. Sometimes it’s slow and we just sit and watch the rain, other times we are running around quite a bit. It’s just a normal shop in a normal part of Guwahati. We like being in Paltanbazar because everything you need is just a short walk away.
