Sresth Saatvik

You can find us on M.G. Road in the Fancy Bazar area of Guwahati, not too far from the ICICI Bank. If you have ever been to Fancy Bazar, you know how crowded and noisy it can get with all the shops and people everywhere. Sresth Saatvik is our small vegetarian restaurant right in the middle of all that. We don't have a big sign or anything too flashy. The place is just a simple room with enough tables for our regulars. We focus on saatvik food, which means we keep things pretty clean and simple in the kitchen. We don't use a lot of fancy ingredients or complicated techniques. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers getting the meals ready. We get a lot of office workers from the nearby banks and shoppers who are tired from walking around the market. The weather in Guwahati can be really humid, so we keep the fans going as much as possible. We don't have a website or a social media person. We just rely on the people who walk past our door every day. Sometimes it gets a bit disorganized when it's very busy, but we do our best to keep up. It’s a practical place for people who want a vegetarian meal. We’ve been here for a while and we just keep doing our daily routine.
