Southcost Restaurants

Southcost Restaurants is located inside the Ginger Hotel over on VIP Road. If you live around Hengrabari in Guwahati, you probably pass by this area quite a bit. Being in the 781036 neighborhood, we get a lot of different people coming through. Some are staying at the hotel for work, and others are just locals from Hengrabari looking for a meal. We have been operating here for some time now. The restaurant is not overly large or decorated with anything expensive. It is just a functional space where you can sit down and have something to eat without much fuss. Guwahati can be a busy place, and VIP Road always has plenty of traffic, so it is nice to have a quiet spot inside the hotel. Our staff consists of regular people who just want to do a good job. We do not use any big marketing slogans or try to sound like a major chain. We just focus on the daily tasks of running a kitchen. The menu is simple and we try to keep things consistent so people know what they are getting. It is a lot of work to keep things moving, but we have a good rhythm down by now. If you are near the Ginger Hotel or driving through this part of Guwahati, you can find us easily enough. We are just a local team doing our thing every day.
