Pankhuri Restaurants

Our place is located right on Srcb Road in the middle of Fancy Bazar. If you know Guwahati, you know how busy this area gets, especially in the afternoons. It’s always crowded outside with shoppers and rickshaws, so Pankhuri Restaurants ends up being a spot where people take a break from all that noise. We’ve been here for some time now, just doing our thing day in and day out. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it works for what we need. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or checking on the tables to see if anyone needs water. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the pace of Fancy Bazar, but we manage. Sometimes the supplies arrive late because of the traffic on Srcb Road, which is a bit of a headache, but we figure it out. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town. We just want to serve the people who come through the door. Most of the staff has been here long enough to know the faces of the shopkeepers nearby. It’s a local operation, nothing too polished. We just keep the lights on and the food ready for whoever walks in. It’s a simple life running a restaurant in a place as lively as 781001.
