Love Restaurants

We are located inside the VIP International Hotel over in Colony Bazar. Kahilipara is a busy part of Guwahati, and the bazar area stays crowded most of the day. Being in a hotel means we see a mix of people, some staying upstairs and some just walking in from the street. The colony bazar vibe is quite loud and active, so once people step into the hotel and come to us, it feels a bit more contained. We’ve got the usual tables and chairs arranged to make the most of the space we have. The kitchen staff starts early, around the time the market outside begins to wake up. Guwahati weather can be unpredictable with the rain, so we often see people ducking in to stay dry. We don’t really have any grand decorations or anything, just a clean place to sit and eat. It’s been our spot for a while now. The staff knows the regulars by name, mostly people who work in the nearby shops in Kahilipara. It’s not a very big place, but it gets the job done for whoever is hungry. Sometimes the traffic in Colony Bazar makes it hard to find parking, so most of our visitors are on foot. We just keep the lights on and the food ready for whoever walks through the door of the hotel. It is a routine that works for us, and we don't feel the need to change it much.
