Lejind Bar & Restaurants

Lejind Bar & Restaurants is located inside the City Palace Hotel right in the Paltanbazar area of Guwahati. Being opposite the A S T C Bus Stand means we are in one of the most hectic parts of the city. There is always a lot of shouting, bus horns, and people rushing to catch their rides just outside our doors. Inside, we have a bar and a dining area where travelers and locals can sit down for a bit. It is a simple place with a dark interior that helps people get away from the bright sun and the dust of the bus station. We serve drinks and a variety of food, mostly to people who are waiting for their bus or staying upstairs in the hotel. Our staff has to be quick because a lot of our customers are on a tight schedule. We spend a lot of time managing the inventory and making sure the kitchen is ready for the rush that happens every time a major bus arrives. The furniture is practical and meant for heavy use since we get so many people coming through. It’s not the kind of place where you find fancy decorations, but it’s a solid spot to get a meal and a drink. We deal with the usual problems of a busy city location, like keeping the place clean despite all the foot traffic. We just try to keep things organized and make sure everyone gets served.
