Our place, Jew, is located on Zoo Narengi Road in Guwahati. We are pretty easy to find if you are near Zoo Tiniali. It’s a busy junction and the road stays active from early morning until late at night. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now. The building is just a standard structure like many others in this part of town. We don’t go in for anything too polished or shiny. Inside, it feels like a regular local business because that is exactly what we are. We have a small team here, and everyone knows their job. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the neighbors or the people who drop by. The traffic on Zoo Narengi Road can be a bit much sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of the engines. We just focus on the work we have in front of us each day. It’s a practical space where things get done without a lot of extra talk. We have some regulars who stop by just to see what’s new or to say hello. It is not a corporate setup with a bunch of rules; we just manage things as they come up. Being near the zoo means there are always families walking around, which keeps things interesting for us. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just light some candles and keep going until the electricity finally comes back.
