Intoxica Bar & Restaurant

We are located on the first floor of the Pabitra Rabha Market. It’s on R P Road in Ganeshguri. Most people know the spot because it’s near the United Bank and the Ganesh Mandir. It is a busy area in Guwahati. The bar is a place where people come to unwind. We have some tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The lighting is a bit low to make it comfortable. We serve drinks and some food that goes well with them. It’s not a fancy place where you have to dress up. You can just come as you are. On Friday nights, it gets pretty crowded and the air gets a bit thick. We have some fans going but it’s still warm. The staff is just a few local guys who know most of the customers. We have a small kitchen in the back where we make snacks. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, but that’s what people like here. We’ve had a few issues with the plumbing in the past, but we keep an eye on it. It’s just a local bar for local people. We aren't trying to be anything big. We open in the afternoon and stay late. It’s a loud, busy place and we like it that way. The stairs up to the market can be a bit slippery when it rains outside.
