Indira Restaurants

If you head down to Paltanbazar in Guwahati, you will find Indira Restaurants right inside the Indira Hotel on K C Sen Road. Being in a place like 781008 means it is always noisy and full of life outside our doors. We serve a lot of travelers who are coming through the main bazaar area or staying at the hotel itself. It is a basic setup, just a dining room where we serve local food throughout the day. The kitchen is always going from early morning until late at night. We do not have any fancy decorations or a marketing team telling us what to do. It is just us, the cooks, and the servers trying to get the orders out. Sometimes the rain in Guwahati makes things a bit messy, but we keep the place running regardless. Paltanbazar is a hub, so we see all sorts of people from different places every day. We just focus on making the food taste like home and making sure there is enough for everyone who walks in. It is a lot of standing and moving around, but that is the nature of the restaurant business. We have been at this location on K C Sen Road for quite some time now.
