Viklang Kanya Kunj

We have been here on Chanchal Hanuman Road for quite some time now. Madhapar is a quiet place and we like it here. It's mostly about managing the day-to-day things for the girls. Sometimes the weather in Bhuj gets really hot, so we have to plan around that. People around here know us as Viklang Kanya Kunj. We just try to keep things running. It’s not always easy, but we make do with what we have. Most mornings start early. There's a lot of cleaning and cooking to get through. The building is old but we try to keep it neat. You see the same faces every day and you get used to the routine. We don't have a big office or anything. Just a few rooms and a hallway where everyone gathers. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have visitors or need to fix something. The road outside can get a bit dusty. We spend a lot of time just talking and making sure everyone is okay. It’s a simple life really. We don’t go out much, mostly staying within the gates. Sometimes we have small events, nothing fancy. We just wanted a place where these girls could stay and be safe. It’s worked out okay so far. We are just off the main road, so it’s easy to find us if you’re looking for the place on the way to the temple.
