You can find us at Hotel Kandla International on Tagore Road in Gandhidham. We are specifically located in Sector 8, right behind the Tagore Garden. It’s a decent spot that stays relatively quiet compared to the main market areas. We spend our mornings checking the kitchen supplies and getting the dining area set up. The hotel guests come in and out, and we also see people from the neighborhood who know where we are. Working in a hotel means things have a certain routine. We follow the clock pretty closely. The garden behind us is a nice landmark for people trying to find the entrance. Most of our day is spent handling orders and making sure the kitchen is running. It’s not always easy, especially when a large group arrives at the same time, but we manage. The staff here is used to the pace of Gandhidham. We don’t go in for anything too polished or corporate. It is just a restaurant where we try to get the food out on time and keep the tables clean. Sector 8 is a good place to be. We have been here long enough to know the local rhythms and the people who walk by every day. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. We just stick to what we know and keep the doors open. We appreciate the regulars who come in and say hello while we are working.
