Tulip Restaurants

Our place, Tulip Restaurants, is located right on NH-58 in the Civil Lines area of Roorkee. If you know where the SDM residence is, we are just right across from there. It’s a busy spot with all the traffic coming off the highway, so we see a lot of different people every day. Some are just passing through town and others live right around the corner in Civil Lines. We’ve been at this 30 number address for a good bit now. The staff here just gets on with the work, keeping the tables clean and the food coming out of the kitchen. It isn't a very large place, but it serves the purpose for anyone looking to grab a bite. We don't spend much time worrying about decorations or anything like that. We just make sure there’s enough chairs and the fans are working when it gets hot outside. Sometimes the highway noise is a bit much, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local eatery where you can sit down. People come in, eat their lunch or dinner, and go about their day. It’s a routine we’ve had for a long time. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long. It’s just us doing our thing on the main road. We don't have any fancy websites or marketing, just the sign out front and the food we make. We hope people feel full and rested when they leave.
