We are over here at Roorkee Talkies Chowk, right on Haridwar Road in the Civil Lines area. Our little spot, 34 Chowringhee Lane Kathi Roll, is pretty easy to spot if you are looking toward Prakash Hotel, since we are directly opposite it. Roorkee is a place where people are always moving, especially near the cinema chowk, so it gets pretty loud and busy during the evenings. We spend most of our time at the counter or near the hot tawa. It’s a small operation, really. We started this because we wanted to serve the kind of food we like to eat. There’s no big corporate office or anything like that behind us. It’s just a kitchen and a counter on a busy street. The address is 247667, for anyone using a map. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit crazy when a movie lets out at the Talkies, but we’re used to it by now. We see students, families, and people just walking home from work. It’s an honest way to make a living. We don't do anything too complicated. Just rolls, some napkins, and a lot of heat from the stove. If you’re around Haridwar Road, you’ll see the sign. It’s nothing fancy, just a practical place to grab something and keep moving. We’ve been at this location for a bit and know the neighbors pretty well now.
