Delux Pundir Vaisnho Dhaba

You can find our dhaba right on the Delhi Haridwar Highway. We are pretty close to the engineering college in the Rajputan area. It’s a typical roadside spot. Being on the highway means we see a lot of travelers passing through Haridwar. Some are going to the temples and others are just driving through. We keep the food simple and vegetarian. There aren't many frills here. We have basic seating and a lot of space for parking since trucks and cars stop by all the time. The kitchen runs almost all day. We start early in the morning because the highway never really sleeps. It can get quite dusty outside with all the traffic, but we try to keep the inside as tidy as we can. The workers here have been with us for a long time. We aren't some big chain, just a local dhaba trying to make a living. We know what people want when they’ve been driving for hours—something hot and quick. We don't have a fancy menu with hundreds of items. We just stick to what we know how to cook well. If you’re heading toward Haridwar or leaving for Delhi, you’ll see us on the side of the road. It’s an honest living and we like the people we meet every day on the 249401 stretch.
