Goswami Bhojnalaya

Goswami Bhojnalaya is located right on Street Number 1 in the Shravan Nath Nagar area of Haridwar. Being in Haridwar, things are always moving, especially with all the pilgrims and travelers coming through. Our place is a simple bhojnalaya where people can get a meal. We don’t have fancy menus or decorations. It’s just tables and chairs and a kitchen that stays busy from morning until night. Shravan Nath Nagar is a busy part of town and we’ve been here for quite some time. We see a lot of people who are just passing through on their way to the ghats. The street can be quite noisy with all the rickshaws and people walking by. We just try to keep the food coming and the tables clean. It’s hard work, especially during the peak seasons when the city is full. We don’t have a big staff, so everyone chips in with whatever needs doing. Sometimes the service is a bit slow because we’re making everything fresh, but people don't seem to mind much. We aren't trying to be a five-star restaurant. We’re just a local eating house providing food for the people in Haridwar. It’s what we know how to do. We just open our doors every day and get to work. Most of the time it is just the local regulars and a few visitors.
