You will find us on Jassaram Road in Haridwar. We are tucked away in the Gujrati Dhamashals Gali. It is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads near the Ganges, but we like it that way. We focus on serving Gujarati food because there are a lot of pilgrims from Gujarat who stay in the nearby dharamshalas. They usually look for food that tastes like home, and that is what we try to provide. It is a very humble place. We do not have any fancy decorations or a big marketing budget. We just have some tables and a kitchen that stays busy from early morning until late evening. Haridwar is a busy town, especially during the festivals, and we see all kinds of people coming through our doors. Some are here for a day, and others stay for a week. We have a few cooks who have been with us for years, and they know the recipes by heart. We don't use a lot of oil or spices because we want the food to be light for the travelers who might have sensitive stomachs. The lane outside is narrow and can get quite crowded with people walking to the temples. We don't have a website or any social media. If you are in Haridwar and you ask for Gujarati food, someone will probably point you in our direction.
