We are located inside Shri Ram Guest House, specifically at Bariet No-6 in the Bahadrabad industrial area. It is very close to the Hanuman Mandir here. Ram Bhoj is where we cook meals for the people working around this part of Haridwar. Being in an industrial zone, we get a lot of workers and staff coming in for their break. We have a set menu mostly, with simple dal, roti, and vegetables. It's the kind of food that fills you up so you can go back to work. The kitchen is always going from early morning. We aren't a big fancy restaurant with waiters in suits. It's more of a self-service or sit-down-where-you-find-space kind of deal. Sometimes the flour gets on our clothes while we are making rotis, but that’s part of the job. The guest house is right there too, so travelers stay over sometimes and eat with us. It’s noisy because of the traffic and the factories nearby, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We keep the water jars filled and the tables wiped down as much as we can. It’s just a basic kitchen serving the local crowd. Nothing fancy, just Ram Bhoj doing what we do every day. If you see the temple, you are basically there. We don't use much spice, just enough to make it taste right for everyone who visits.
