Om Bhojnalya Pure Vegiterian

Our place, Om Bhojnalya Pure Vegiterian, is located right on Jwalapur Road in Haridwar. We are positioned directly opposite the Prem Nagar Ashram, which is a very busy landmark. Most days, we are just busy keeping up with the people walking by on their way to the ashram or heading deeper into the city. The road outside is always full of traffic and the sound of horns is something we have just gotten used to over the years. We keep the place strictly vegetarian because that is what people expect here in a holy place like Haridwar. The seating is basic and we don't have any of those modern menus you see in big cities. It's mostly just local people and some travelers who are staying nearby. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the evening because we only make a set amount every day to keep things fresh. The kitchen is small and it gets quite warm when we are cooking for a crowd. We try our best to keep the tables wiped down, though the dust from Jwalapur Road is a constant battle. It is a simple life running a small eatery. We wake up, start the stove, and wait for the first customers to walk in from the street. There’s no big secret to how we work, we just show up every morning and do the same tasks.
