Krishna Lounge

Up here on Upper Road in Haridwar, things are always moving. Krishna Lounge is tucked into this busy area near the 249401 zip code. It's not a huge place, but it's where we spend all our time. We wanted a spot where people could come in and just sit for a while away from the main rush of the street. The stairs are a bit narrow and the sign might be a little faded from the sun, but we are here. Inside, we try to keep it comfortable. It isn't a palace, just a lounge with some chairs and a bit of space. We serve tea and some snacks, mostly things that are easy to make. During the festivals, the road outside is packed and we barely have room to breathe, but we manage. I handle the money and my brother looks after the customers. We don't have a big corporate plan or anything. We just want to pay the rent and keep the place going. Some days the electricity goes out and we have to use the lanterns, which the customers seem to find okay. It's a local business through and through. We know the shopkeepers next door and the tea seller across the street. If you find yourself on Upper Road, you'll see our door.
