Jagti Veshno Bhojnalaya

We are located on Railway Road in Haridwar, near the Nirmal Saray. If you have ever been to Haridwar, you know that the area near the station is always full of life and people looking for a place to eat. Our bhojnalaya is a very simple place. We do not serve anything fancy, just the kind of food people look for when they are traveling or visiting the holy sites. The benches are wooden and the fans hum all day to keep the air moving. It gets very busy during the festival times or when a big train arrives at the station. We do not have a lot of staff, so everyone has to help out with everything. Sometimes the wait for a table is a bit long, but people usually do not mind. We keep things clean as much as we can, though with so many people coming in from the dusty streets, it is a constant job. The sounds of the bells from the temples and the trains nearby are always in the background. We have been in this spot for years and we have seen the town change a lot, but our little place stays pretty much the same. We focus on the daily routine of cooking and making sure there is enough for everyone. It is not a corporate business, just a family-run shop on a busy street. We like being part of the Haridwar atmosphere.
