Jagannath restaurant

Our restaurant is down in Jwalapur, specifically in the Kathera Bazar area of Haridwar. We are quite close to the police station, which makes us easy to find. Jagannath restaurant is a place where we just focus on the food and the people. It’s a busy part of town, and there’s always something going on in the bazaar. We don't have any corporate goals or polished speeches. We just open the shutters in the morning and get the stoves going. Haridwar is a spiritual place, but for us, it’s also just where we work and live. We spend our time chopping vegetables and cleaning the floors. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we know how to do. The building is an older one in a traditional market area. We don’t have any fancy air conditioning or modern art on the walls. It’s just tables, chairs, and good food. We talk to the locals and the people passing through on their way to the temples. Every day is a bit different depending on the crowd that comes through Kathera Bazar. We try to stay humble and just do the work. If the kitchen is busy, we’re happy. It’s a plain and simple life here in Haridwar. We don’t need much else besides a busy day and some satisfied people. We are just a local restaurant doing what we’ve always done at this address.
