Upstairs Italian Restaurant

We are located in Fort Kochi, right across from the Santa Cruz Basilica. It is a nice spot on the Piazza Canossa. Ernakulam 682001 is the area where we work. Upstairs Italian Restaurant is what we call the place because we are located on the floor above the street level. You get a pretty decent view of the square from our windows. Fort Kochi is always full of people, especially near the Basilica area. We see a lot of tourists and locals walking around the piazza. It is a simple setup we have here. Nothing too over the top or polished. Just a place for people to sit down and have a meal. We have been here for a while now, just watching the crowds go by on Piazza Canossa. Sometimes it is quiet in the mornings, but it can get very loud outside with all the visitors later on. We just keep doing our thing every day. It is an old building, which is typical for this part of Ernakulam. We try to keep it clean and comfortable for anyone who makes the walk up the stairs. The address is easy to remember since the Basilica is right there across from us. Most people use the church as a landmark to find us. It is a good neighborhood to be in. We like the general vibe of the piazza. No big corporate backing here, just a small kitchen team.
