Toms Old Mansion

Toms Old Mansion is an old building located on Princess Street right in the heart of Fort Kochi. We are very close to the Vasgodagama Church, which is a big landmark in this area. The building itself has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the thick walls and the high ceilings. It is not like a modern hotel with glass and steel; it has old wooden floors that sometimes creak when you walk on them. We spend a lot of time maintaining the property because old buildings in Kochi need a lot of care, especially with the humid weather. Outside on Princess Street, there are always tourists walking by and locals going about their business. We have a few rooms and a common area where people can sit and relax. It is a bit of a slow pace of life here, which fits the atmosphere of Fort Kochi. We do not have a big fancy reception desk, just a simple place to greet people when they arrive. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a window gets stuck, but that is just part of living in a mansion that has been around for so long. We try to keep things clean and comfortable for anyone who stays with us. It is an honest place with a lot of character, and we like living and working here every day among the old trees and salt air.
