The Ooru Restaurant

The Ooru Restaurant is located in the Kuttoch Complex on Pukkattupady Road in Edapally. We are quite close to SML Motors, which is a good landmark if you’re looking for us. Ernakulam is a fast-paced place, but here at the restaurant, we just focus on the cooking. We open up early to start getting everything ready for the day. There is a lot of chopping, cleaning, and prep work that goes into it. We aren't a big chain or anything. It’s just a local spot where we serve the food we know how to make. The staff here are mostly local people. We talk to each other and the customers in a normal way. No one is wearing a stiff uniform or following a manual. We just want to get the food out to the tables. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when a lot of people come in at once, but we manage. The road outside can get quite congested, so we see a lot of people stopping in to take a break from the traffic. We’ve built up a bit of a routine over the months. We check the stock, cook the meals, and clear the dishes. It’s honest work and we just take it one day at a time. That’s pretty much how we operate. We just want to make sure everyone who comes in gets what they ordered without any trouble and goes away with a full stomach.
